Description

Resfur RTU Injection is a broad-spectrum, ready-to-use sterile injectable suspension containing Ceftiofur Hydrochloride, a powerful third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is specifically formulated for veterinary use to combat a wide range of bacterial infections in cattle, buffalo, sheep, and goats. Known for its rapid therapeutic action, Resfur RTU Injection is highly effective in treating post-partum uterine infections, bovine respiratory disease (BRD), and interdigital necrobacillosis (foot rot).

With zero milk withdrawal and a short meat withdrawal period, Resfur RTU Injection is ideal for dairy and meat-producing livestock. This injectable antibiotic ensures quick recovery, better reproductive health, and enhanced productivity in animals.

Indications:

Acute metritis (0 to 14 days post-partum)
Bovine respiratory disease (Shipping fever, Pneumonia)
Acute interdigital necrobacillosis (Foot Rot)
Bacterial infections caused by:
- Mannheimia haemolytica
- Pasteurella multocida
- Histophilus somni
- Fusobacterium necrophorum
- Bacteroides melaninogenicus

Resfur RTU Injection can be administered intramuscularly (IM) or subcutaneously (SC).

For acute metritis: 2.2 mg/kg body weight once daily for 5 days
For respiratory disease & foot rot: 1.1–2.2 mg/kg body weight once daily for 3 days
(Extend to 5 days if clinical response is inadequate after initial 3 treatments)
Do not exceed 15 ml per injection site

Cattle, Buffalo, Sheep, Goats

Meat: 7 days
Milk: 0 days
