Full Description: Cephavet is an antibiotic containing Cephalexin, designed to treat various bacterial infections in dogs and cats. It is indicated for managing superficial or deep pyoderma, urinary tract infections, pyometra, and infectious otitis in dogs, while in cats, it is useful for treating soft tissue infections and systemic infections. The formulation comes in both tablet and oral suspension forms, providing flexibility in administration and dosage.

Dosage: The recommended dosage for Cephavet varies depending on the species and size of the pet:

For Tablets:

Dogs: 15 mg/kg twice daily (b.d.) or 30 mg/kg once daily (o.d.).
Cats: 15 mg/kg twice daily.

For Oral Suspension:

Dogs: 1.5 ml/5 kg twice daily [15 mg/kg b.d.].
Cats: 1 ml/2.5 kg twice daily [20 mg/kg b.d.].

Presentation: Cephavet is available in a variety of pack sizes to suit different needs:

Tablets: Strip of 10 tablets.
Oral Suspension: Bottle of 60 ml.
