CEFTABRUT-TAZO 3.375 GM / 4.5 GM:

Designed to combat mastitis, uterine infections, and respiratory tract infections, CEFTABRUT-TAZO injectable solution comes in two strengths: 3375mg and 4500mg. Each variant contains a blend of Cefoperazone and Tazobactam, potent antibiotics targeting various bacterial infections in animals.

Advantages:

Effective against coliform mastitis, respiratory tract infections, multi-drug resistant infections, skin and soft tissue infections, septicemia, and uterine infections.
Offers a broad spectrum of activity against bacterial pathogens.
Provides a convenient and efficient treatment option for veterinary use.

Dosage:

Administered via intramuscular or intravenous route.
Recommended dosage: 5-10 mg/kg body weight daily for 3-5 days.

Composition and Role:

Cefoperazone: Acts as a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including those causing mastitis and respiratory infections.
Tazobactam: Acts as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, enhancing the activity of Cefoperazone against beta-lactamase-producing bacteria, thus extending its spectrum of activity and overcoming resistance.
