Description

Composition:

1. Cefoperazone (3gm):
   • Cefoperazone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic.
   • It exerts its bactericidal action by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, effectively targeting a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
2. Sulbactam (1.5gm):
   • Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor.
   • It enhances the activity of cefoperazone by inhibiting beta-lactamase enzymes produced by certain bacteria, thus preventing antibiotic resistance.

Indications:

Techcefo+ (Plus) Injection is indicated for the treatment of:

• Clinical mastitis (inflammation of the mammary gland)
• Respiratory tract infections

Dosage:

• Administer 5-10 mg/kg body weight via intramuscular (I/M) or intravenous (I/V) route.
• Repeat the dosage within 24 hours for 3-5 days, as prescribed by a veterinarian.

• It is supplied with water for injection and a syringe needle.
