Safeheart Tablets – Pimobendan for Congestive Heart Failure in Dogs

Full Description: Safeheart Tablets contain Pimobendan, an inodilator used to treat dogs diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). CHF occurs when the heart cannot pump enough blood to meet the body’s needs. Pimobendan works by increasing the force of heart contractions and dilating blood vessels, allowing more blood to enter the heart for pumping and facilitating the outward flow of blood from the heart.

Safeheart Tablets improve the quality of life and extend the survival of dogs with CHF due to Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) or Myxomatous Mitral Valve Disease (MMVD). They are also useful in delaying the onset of CHF and prolonging survival in dogs with preclinical mitral valve disease and DCM.

Pimobendan: Available in 1.25 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg strengths.

Dosage and Administration: The recommended dosage for Safeheart Tablets:

Dosage: 0.5 mg/kg body weight per day, given in two doses (not necessarily equal).
Administration: Administer orally to dogs as directed by a veterinarian.

Presentation: Safeheart Tablets are available in different pack sizes:

Bottle of 30 tablets and 1×10 tablets strip.
