Detailed Description: OXY Liquid CVP contains Oxytetracycline HCL, a potent antibiotic known for its broad-spectrum activity. This formulation is designed to combat various localized and reproductive tract infections in animals. Its dual-use application makes it a valuable tool in veterinary medicine.

Product Composition:

Oxytetracycline HCL I.P.: 50 mg per ml
Propyleneglycol IP: q.s.
Other excipients: q.s.

Role in Animal Health:

Topical Use: Effectively treats localized cutaneous infections such as infected wounds, foot rot, docking, yoke gall, and external otitis.
Intrauterine Use: Treats bacterial infections of the reproductive tract, including metritis, endometritis, salpingitis, cervicitis, vulvitis, vulvo-vaginitis, pyometra, and vaginitis.

Usage Instructions:

Topical Application: Clean the wound and apply directly on a gauze with a small quantity of OXY Liquid CVP once or twice daily.
Intrauterine Application: Mix 30 ml of OXY Liquid CVP with an equal quantity of sterile water and deposit in the uterine cavity. In severe infections, the dose may be increased.

Indications:

Topical Infections: Infected wounds, foot rot, docking, yoke gall, external otitis.
Reproductive Tract Infections: Metritis, endometritis, salpingitis, cervicitis, vulvitis, vulvo-vaginitis, pyometra, vaginitis.
