Clomiphene Citrate IP Tablet is a fertility medication that is non-steroidal. It induces the pituitary gland to produce ovulation-stimulating chemicals. Clomifene can help those who are infertile because of anovulation or oligoovulation. Clomifene blocks oestrogen receptors in the hypothalamus, preventing negative feedback of estrogen on gonadotropin release and causing ovulation to increase. It has beneficial impacts on female reproduction in terms of puberty reduction and ovulation induction. Its favourable benefits are also shown in males as an enhancement in sperm quality.

Clomiphene Citrate IP Tablet is used to treat infertility in women and works by stimulating an increase in the amount of hormones that supports the growth and release of a mature egg (ovulation). Clomiphene Citrate IP Tablet is not recommended for women whose ovaries no longer make eggs properly (primary pituitary or ovarian failure).
