Full Description: Intacef Pet Injection is a broad-spectrum antibacterial solution for pets, designed to treat a range of bacterial infections. Each vial contains 500 mg of Ceftriaxone, a potent third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. This medication is ideal for use in various infections, both pre and post-surgical, and provides effective treatment for a variety of bacterial conditions.

Ceftriaxone: 500 mg

Indications/Uses: Intacef Pet Injection is indicated for treating a variety of bacterial infections in pets, including:

Pre and Post-Surgical Procedures
Skin and Soft Tissue Infections
Respiratory Tract Infections
Uro-genital Tract Infections
Joint Infections
Intra-abdominal Infections
Meningitis

Dosage and Administration:

Administer Intacef Pet Injection to dogs at a dosage of 15-25 mg/kg body weight daily for 3-5 days. It can be given intramuscularly (I.M.) or intravenously (I.V.).
Follow your veterinarian’s instructions for proper dosage and administration.

Mechanism of Action: Ceftriaxone works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. This mode of action provides effective treatment against a range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

Administer only under veterinary supervision.
