Benzyl Alcohol IP (Preservative – 1.5% v/v):
- Role: Benzyl Alcohol serves as a preservative in the injection, maintaining the stability and efficacy of the medication over time. It helps prevent microbial contamination and ensures the safety and integrity of the product.
Propylene Glycol IP (q.s.):
- Role: Propylene Glycol is used as a solvent and stabilizer in the formulation. It aids in maintaining the proper consistency and stability of the injection, ensuring uniform distribution of the active ingredient.
