Composition and Their Roles:

1. Ivermectin IP (10 mg/ml):
   • Percentage Present: 1% w/v
   • Role: Ivermectin is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic medication that effectively treats both internal and external parasites in animals. It works by binding to the nerve and muscle cells of parasites, causing paralysis and death. Ivermectin is highly effective against a wide range of parasites including gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, skin worms, eye worms, cattle grubs, screw-worms fly larvae, sucking lice, mange mites, biting lice, and ticks.
2. Benzyl Alcohol IP (Preservative – 1.5% v/v):
   • Role: Benzyl Alcohol serves as a preservative in the injection, maintaining the stability and efficacy of the medication over time. It helps prevent microbial contamination and ensures the safety and integrity of the product.
3. Propylene Glycol IP (q.s.):
   • Role: Propylene Glycol is used as a solvent and stabilizer in the formulation. It aids in maintaining the proper consistency and stability of the injection, ensuring uniform distribution of the active ingredient.
