For acute or sub-acute bloat, administer the first two doses at one-hour intervals, followed by subsequent doses at 4 to 6 hour intervals. For chronic bloat, administer twice daily after feeding. In cases of impaction, combine with 150-400 gm magnesium sulfate. For severe cases, use higher doses or administer directly into the rumen using a trocar and cannula.
