Full Description: Bioclan is an antibiotic containing Clindamycin hydrochloride, known for its effectiveness against anaerobic organisms and protozoal infections. It is used to treat a variety of conditions in dogs and cats, such as babesiosis, infected wounds, abscesses, dental infections, osteomyelitis, recurrent superficial pyoderma, and respiratory tract infections. In cats, it is particularly useful for managing toxoplasmosis and other respiratory infections.

• Oral Solution:

  • Maintenance dose: 2 drops/kg body weight.

In cats:

• Tablets:
  • 5 mg/kg twice daily or 10 mg/kg once daily.
  • Toxoplasmosis: 25 mg/kg every day for 7-10 days.
• Oral Solution:
  • 1-3 ml/2.5 kg twice a day.
