Description: Maxvir Injection is a veterinary medication formulated to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation in animals. It contains Meloxicam Injection IP at a concentration of 5mg/ml. Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby reducing pain and inflammation.

Meloxicam Injection IP: 5mg/ml

Indications: Maxvir Injection is indicated for the following conditions in animals:

Pyrexia (fever) of unknown origin.
Pain and inflammation in the udder.
Muscle pain and inflammation.
Treatment of injuries.

Dosage:

Large Animal: 15 to 20 ml per 300 kg body weight.
Small Animal: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight.
Route of Administration: Intramuscular (I.M.) or Intravenous (I.V.) use.

Meloxicam (5mg/ml): Meloxicam is a potent NSAID that works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), thus reducing the production of prostaglandins which are responsible for pain and inflammation.
